Heidi Watne

Born in Kenosha, Wisconsin, and raised in Zumbrota, Minnesota, I attended Winona State University where I studied Management Information Systems with a minor in Business Information Management. After marrying my husband, Troy, we settled in Belmond, Iowa. Troy and I farmed for nearly 30 years, growing our operation to 4,000 acres before transitioning part of the farm to our son. We still have some hogs and cattle and live on the Watne family farm along the Iowa River.

We have three children - Paige, Kyle, and Adam - and recently welcomed our first granddaughter, Maisie, who was born on February 14th. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, walking, spending time with family, and cheering on Adam at his sporting events, especially traveling baseball.
